Terms of service

No Words Left Unsaid (“the service”) lets you store private messages, photos, audio, and video to be delivered to people you name — either on a future date you choose, or, in a future release, if your trusted contacts confirm you can no longer act on your own behalf. By using the service you agree to these terms.

You're responsible for keeping your password safe. You must be at least 16 years old to use the service. One account per person.

What you put in your vault is yours. You grant us a limited, revocable license to host it, encrypt it in transit, store it, and deliver it to the people you name under the conditions you choose. We don't look at your entries except where required to operate the service (e.g., debugging a bug you reported, complying with a lawful request).

Don't use the service to harass, threaten, defame, or harm anyone, or to store content that is illegal where you are. We may suspend an account that does.

The “If anything happens to me” delivery mode requires a verification flow involving inactivity detection plus trusted-contact confirmation. This flow is currently being built.Until it is published as live, the only delivery mode that runs end-to-end is vault delivery on a date (you choose a future date). We'll notify users when the full flow ships and let you opt in. Don't rely on the “if-anything-happens” mode to deliver until that notice.

Anonymous affirmations are paid (about $0.25 per message at the time of writing). Paid vault plans (Premium Monthly, Premium Annual, Lifetime) are billed through Stripe under the prices we publish on the pricing page. We can change pricing with 30 days' notice; existing paid terms are honored through their current billing cycle.

Refunds are available within 14 days of any subscription purchase, no questions asked. Affirmation per-message charges are not refundable once the recipient has viewed the message.

You can delete your account at any time from your profile. Deletion cascades your entries and contacts and is irreversible. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms; we'll try to notify you first unless doing so would harm someone.

The service is provided “as is”. We make no warranty that entries will be delivered exactly when you intend, or at all, in the event of catastrophic platform failure. We're not liable for damages above the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim, except where prohibited by law.

We'll update this page when our terms change and post the updated date at the top. For material changes, we'll email registered users at least 14 days before they take effect.
